ProQuip Installs 13 Solar Lighting Systems for Tyendinaga Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte

Near Bay of Quinte, Ontario, a small community is thrilled to have new area lighting in two local parks. ProQuip's autonomous solar LED lighting systems were an easy decision for this project where electrical service trenching costs would have been quite cost prohibitive.
ProQuip solar product manager John Tylak demonstrated the installation process to members of the Tyendinaga Mohawks and local community tradesmen who were there to install the solar led lighting systems. All thirteen units were up and commissioned by night fall. This particular project integrated motion sensors on each of the thirteen basic series 3-lamp systems for added security. The solar package on these units, along with the integrated motion sensors, will provide the community parks with light throughout the dark hours of the night.

The white led lights are quite distinguishable from the orange cast of sodium vapor lamps in the background. Also notice the difference in light cutoff for dark sky compliance.
