University of Western Ontario
We designed and manufactured the two MaxSun lamps at Western University according to specific location, lighting requirements and sun resources available at the campus installation sites. In accordance with the campus’ current lighting system, the solar LED lamps and pole components were powder coated in green to match.
BMO Centre – Indoor soccer and sports facility
We engineered and installed 5 of their MaxSUN solar LED lighting systems to safely illuminate the drive and pathway leading to the front of the facility. The 5 LED lights are powered off-grid by solar panels and batteries, all mounted on 30 foot street poles set on concrete tube foundations. Being solar powered, the lights are cost effective in term of no energy costs, no trenching or cabling and minimal maintenance costs. The batteries recharge by the solar panels can be expected to last up to seven years.
Markham Ontario
The 120-unit affordable housing development on Deverill Court in Markham Ontario has incorporated extensive and innovative energy conservation and sustainability features. We installed 11 stand alone solar-led lighting systems and 9 solar-led lighting systems that run off a solar harvesting system. The solar harvesting system stores energy in a battery bank, making this entire 20- unit system completely off-grid.
Brantford Transit
We donated and installed the solar LED lighting system in Brantford’s northwest industrial park at the bus shelter in front of Western Waffles. This project demonstrates the promise of solar lighting which is providing public ares with acceptable light levels and making them safer, protecting the environment and saving energy dollars.
